about this team:

The Retail Communications team is responsible for crafting clear and engaging communications for the North American store fleet, that cover a wide range of subjects and channels. The Retail Communications team is responsible for change management, the effective roll out of SSC initiatives, communications and information that our retail teams need to know to run their business. Retail Communications communicates to 16,000 employees daily and acts as a conduit between all SSC depts and our retail teams. Retail Communications is responsible for managing what we say, who needs to know, frequency and how much we communicate.



key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Translation & Compliance Lead to clarify project requirements and address translation-related questions.
• Translate AGGI (America Global Guest Innovation) communications, tasks, resources, and executive messages from English to French, ensuring accurate reflection of the original content using designated translation tools.
• Proofread, edit, and quality check all translations for linguistic, cultural, and stylistic accuracy, maintaining consistency in terminology, tone, and grammar, while adhering to brand guidelines and organizational standards.
• Format translated documents to align with brand and organizational standards, preserving the structure of the original English content.
• Manage multiple translation projects, conducting necessary research to ensure content accuracy and quality.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance translation efficiency.
• Provide ad-hoc support for the Retail Communications Team as needed.
• Translatable content and formatting guidelines from the Retail Communications team.
• Project timelines and requirements from the Translation & Compliance Lead.
• Feedback on translation quality for continuous improvement.
• Translated materials that are accurate, consistent, and culturally appropriate.
• Documents formatted to align with organizational standards.
• Completed translation tasks delivered on time.






qualifications:

• 0-2 years of translation experience.
• Certification from a professional translator association (a plus).
• Fluency in French and English with strong written communication skills in both languages.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with translation tools, translation memories, and formatting guidelines (a plus).
• Experience in translation, localization, or use of language management systems (a plus).
• Retail experience (a plus).
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
• Passion for languages and the translation process.
• Understanding of the Quebec culture (a plus).
• Competency in using Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with filetype requirements and formatting across multiple document types (e.g., Word, Excel, PDFs). (a plus)

compensation and benefits package:

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team?performance. The?typical hiring range for this position is from?$55,300-72,600; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
