Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye diseases.
Prescribe corrective lenses and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of prescribed eyewear.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technology.
Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state license to practice optometry in .
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Detail-oriented with excellent diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
