Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students through engaging music education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching music, experience working with children, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering creativity and musical skills. This role involves designing and delivering age-appropriate lessons, nurturing students' musical talents, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans tailored to students' age and skill levels. Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions to enhance students' understanding of musical concepts, instruments, and performance techniques. Foster a love of music by creating fun, interactive, and educational activities that motivate students. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Organize recitals, performances, or showcases to give students opportunities to demonstrate their skills. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and staff to support students' musical education goals. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment conducive to learning. Incorporate elements of early childhood education where appropriate to engage younger learners effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience with tutoring or teaching music in classroom or private settings. Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments, or vocal training. Experience working with children across various age groups; classroom experience is preferred. Ability to design engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills and patience when working with young learners. Background in early childhood education is a plus. Creativity in developing fun and educational activities related to music. Prior experience with cooking is not required but may be considered a bonus for integrated activity planning. Pay: $19.00-$39.00 per hour
