Department Overview

Risk Management is looking for a Multimedia Communications Analyst who will work with their team, in partnership with Risk Management lines of business and other corporate functions, to design and deliver programs and creative assets that enhance overall engagement and promote Risk Management's inclusive culture. This includes the day-to-day maintenance of existing programs and platforms, creating assets for various initiatives, as well as ideation of new and emerging programs for our evolving workforce.

Job Requirements

  • University degree / college diploma (or equivalent experience), preferably in graphic design, video production, or related experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years+ working experience in an agency or in-house creative environment (Design portfolio and video demo reel required)
  • Strong information design,graphic design, and web design skills, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Lightroom)
  • Advanced Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects
  • Demonstrated experience working in a production environment: filming, lighting, sound, editing and motion graphics.
  • Strong working knowledge of mirrorless and DSLR cameras
  • Experience managing and publishing on web content management systems
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects and tasks in a demanding, deadline-oriented environment
  • Understanding of User Experience and User Interface design best practices
  • Ability to work conceptually and solve problems through design thinking
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to convey ideas and concepts to various target groups in both business and technology

  • Provides creative support and counsel for initiatives, including graphic design, web design, video, and animations.
  • Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team and business partners to develop and implement internal communication strategies and branding that support Risk's business objectives.
  • Responsible for: pre-production support, on-location and remote filming, video editing, motion graphics and photography, as required.
  • Write and edit compelling, creative and clear video scripts and storyboard relevant to the intended audience
  • Manage publication and design of internal web platforms to promote content and drive employee engagement
  • Develop static and interactive infographics and data visualizations
  • Effectively support large, complex projects and teams using a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach
  • Create design for all information sharing platforms including PowerPoint, Connections, Word and Sharepoint
  • Interact with others at various levels within Risk regarding the visual communication of information; ability to grasp the substance of business issues being communicated and then re-articulate visual options that enhance / clarify audience understanding
  • Create videos and designs that are consistent with brand guidelines so they 'look and feel' TD.
  • Exercise judgment and project management skills to balance priorities and to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments
  • Provide creative and innovative approaches as well as outstanding attention to detail and quality under challenging deadlines
  • Oversees team's technology inventory list and provides recommendations for future purchases.
