This job is a front-line office position. Registering and renewing vehicles, drivers licenses, and all other SGI transactions is the primary focus of this position. Other duties would include answering phones, taking payments, processing mail, scanning documents and policy processing. It would also be required to successfully complete a course to get licensed to sell auto insurance policies.
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
Has motor vehicle experience and has completed the SGI MVD course and their restricted auto sales license.
May have achieved their level one brokers license quite recently.
Has experience in an office/customer service setting. An admin assistant certificate would be considered an asset.
Offers friendly service and enjoys working with the public.
Able to work in an environment that can be fast paced at times.
Comfortable handling a variety of different situations that may come up during the day.
Works well with co-workers.
Has a very positive attitude.
Has integrity and is motivated to succeed.
Is looking to gradually move into a role as a personal lines broker/Auto & MVD rep.
Must be bondable
