Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Mortgage Agent to join our mortgage services team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in securing mortgage loans, provide expert guidance throughout the application process, and ensure a seamless experience. This role requires strong communication skills, financial knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. The Mortgage Agent will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and guiding them through the application process Evaluate client financial information and determine eligibility for various mortgage products Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable rates and terms Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally Prepare and review mortgage documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, lending policies, and market trends Manage cash flow and financial transactions related to mortgage processing Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track applications, client information, and progress reports Communicate effectively in English, French, or other multilingual capacities to serve diverse clients

Skills

Fluent in English; proficiency in French or multiple languages is a strong asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and negotiation Strong understanding of financial services, mortgage products, and industry regulations Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes Demonstrated negotiation skills to secure optimal mortgage terms for clients Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport Sales and marketing talent will highly effect your success rate in this role Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs
