This is an opportunity to join a financial planning team within a fast-growing and innovative wealth management firm. Precedence Private Wealth serves clients throughout Canada in all areas of wealth management, providing comprehensive financial planning including insurance, debt planning, accounting and tax advisory and filing, as well as investment services alongside a partnering relationship.

This is an opportunity to be highly involved in the essential steps of managing the client mortgage process with regards to preparing documents, coordinating with clients and lenders and assisting with workflow management to ensure smooth and timely mortgage transactions. Experience working within a mortgage services environment will be of value.

The individual in this role will work closely with our Mortgage Specialist and Financial Planners to collaboratively support the facilitating of our mortgage services and plans. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities creating a dynamic and engaging work environment. Although the role will expand the knowledge and skillset of the candidate, they must also embrace administrative and processed-driven work. Understanding that the administrative, template-based, and repetitive work is essential and supports a strong, successful client relationship.

The successful candidate will possess clear, strong and professional communication skills, as well as experience working with excel, Adobe and DocuSign, and has the ability to adapt easily to different technology and software solutions.

Strong organizational and management skills are essential for success in this role and are especially crucial during peak periods with increased workload. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and perform under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.

Duties:



Obtain information and facilitating the mortgage process required for mortgage lenders. Managing and saving documentation. Maintaining the workflow and cash management system of the mortgage tax strategies. Assist the Mortgage Specialist with administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, preparation of documents and maintenance of the file. Acting as a liaison with clients and lenders to provide updates and coordinate required information. Managing and responding to client inquiries. No mortgage advice will be required of this candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
