JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Senior Manager, Monthly Giving, the Coordinator, Monthly Giving will provide day-to-day execution of the monthly giving program to support the National (English and French) Mass Marketing revenue goals. This includes working with the Senior Managers and other internal and external teams to coordinate all the take-to-market activities associated with the monthly-giving acquisitions and retention strategies. The responsibilities of this role will include reporting on monthly giving acquisition, retention and attrition trends while developing campaign briefs and data requests, coordinating work-back schedules, developing training materials, key messages, FAQ and presentations to support the monthly giving acquisitions teams internally and externally. The successful candidate will lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly vendor meeting, document action items, optimize data segment criteria, edit scripts and monthly acquisitions collateral to support growth activities and the launch and testing of new monthly product, segment, and channel processes. The role will also liaise with the stewardship to ensure the monthly giving program value proposition is fulfilled and work with the operations team to ensure recurring payment processes are in place to support monthly channel, product, and segment retention key performance indicators. The Coordinator, Monthly Giving will play a significant role in tracking, processing, and following up on outstanding invoices. The role will act as the program prime all monthly giving donor questions and escalations with internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator, Monthly Giving will also be responsible for auditing all monthly giving marketing collateral including offline and online acquisitions tools and internal readiness/process documents. The role requires a dynamic professional who is detailed-orientated, analytical, relational, responsive, and an effective communicator. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and will also work closely with their manager and other internal and external stakeholders to support the monthly giving program’s revenue goals. This position is ideal for a junior marketing professional who enjoys executing integrated direct-response campaigns and who is interested in being part a dynamic and results-oriented team within a fast-paced and changing/entrepreneurial environment. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Work with the Senior Manager to grow national (English and French) monthly giving acquisition through direct response channels with a strong focus on traditional offline channels such as telemarketing (40%), recurring payment retention support (20%), admin and operational support (20%) and special revenue growth projects (20%) as needed.
  • Fulfills all front-end and back-end operational requirements associated with monthly revenue and campaigns within the Telemarketing, Direct Mail, face-to-face and other channels as needed.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute launch new conversion and upgrade campaigns including overseeing the coordination of marketing resources, data requests, campaign requests, tracking acquisition targets against budget, update and maintain scripts, speaking points, key messages and FAQs, coordinate back-feed files etc.
  • Complete weekly, quarterly and annual vendor assessments and recommend new segment, product and testing strategies to grow monthly giving.
  • Complete weekly call auditing including documenting and sharing feedback to ensure quality assurance.
  • Proactively monitor, track and process expenses against budget.
  • Maintain the acquisitions incentive program by collaborating with the Corporate team to secure in-kind prizes for internal and external acquisitions team.
  • Create and present a monthly report summarizing the Monthly-Giving program.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end operational processes for all recurring-payment processes in compliance with the payment card industry standards
  • Process estimates, purchase orders and invoices – while tracking all expenses against budget activities.
  • Act as the first point-of-contact for vendors and Donor Services, if they receive escalated complaints and inquiries, and troubleshoot gift processing issues/exceptions within the channel – providing monthly training to the Donor Services retention/save cancellation team.
  • Audit, update and maintain the monthly channel FAQs, key messages, training materials, newsletters, work-back schedules, and weekly meeting minutes/action items.
  • Monitor inventory and reorder as required for fulfillment.
  • Act as ambassador to protect the brand and deliver a donor-centric experience measured through first-year retention, multi-year renewal, upgrades, satisfaction and net-promoter score.
  • Ensure integrated campaign collaterals are developed to grow-monthly giving during the Daffodil and Holiday campaigns.
  • Liaise with other subject matter experts across the organization to position the monthly giving product offer to new segments for upgrades and cross-sell opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree required, in a related field (preferably Marketing) with 1 or more years’ experience in the deployment and implementation of targeted multi-channel direct marketing campaigns (specifically via direct response channels) to acquire/retain/upgrade donors, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Understanding of fundamental marketing and direct response principles in either for profit or not-for-profit.
  • Strong organizational, planning, critical thinking, analytical, and detailed orientated skills.
  • Ability to facilitate third-party feedback and investigate requirements needed to execute time-sensitive campaigns.
  • Exceptional and clear two-way communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to set priorities daily, weekly, and monthly priorities and project milestones.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently using sound judgement.
  • Highly interpersonal and relational skills, and comfortable presenting/hosting/facilitating update meetings.
  • Experience in documentation editing, Excel formulas, and developing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of Blackbaud Luminate Online or Deloitte are assets.
  • Bilingual is an asset.
