JLL is hiring an experienced Building Operator for one of it\'s key clients for New-Brunswick and PEI. The Operator will be part of a team responsible for operational and technical support on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and building systems.

The Operator will have a regular business hours shift schedule (Monday-Friday)

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING/WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU/WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

• Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition.
• Provide assistance as directed to other building operations staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc.
• Perform water treatment testing and analysis, adjust and modify chemical feed to ensure proper levels are being maintained.
• Act as relief for other similar positions whose incumbent may be absent from time-to-time.
• Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas.
• Perform other related duties as required and reasonably assigned from time-to-time.
• Perform On-call coverage on a rotating basis along with other building staff.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to complete required repairs and maintenance.

WHAT YOU BRING/ WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE/WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR

• 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in building repairs/operations
• Basic Interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism and commitment to service excellence.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to comprehend an issue and resolve it and complete logs.
• Aptitude to learn state-of-the-art Building Automation Systems in order to be trained for the next level.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• React swiftly and accurately to crisis situations.
• Respond to unexpected emergency call-backs if problems occur from time-to-time
• Ability to perform the requirements of the job with minimal supervision and complete the assigned tasks per agreed deadlines.
