We\xe2\x80\x99re growing!! And looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Maintenance Technician located in Moncton and Dieppe, NB. This is an ideal full-time opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and loves a challenge!

Duties include:

• Maintaining the physical integrity of the building through general maintenance and up-keep of the assigned properties.
• Cleaning and repairing items in vacant and occupied units (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc).
• Completing physically demanding work which includes the use of ladders, power tools and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Applying knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, DDC BAS systems and life safety systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven relevant mechanical/electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills.
• General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs.
• PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma and 5 years work related experience.
• Previous experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants an asset.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in New Brunswick and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.

Fonctions essentielles du poste:

• Le maintien de l\'int\xc3\xa9grit\xc3\xa9 physique de l\'\xc3\xa9difice par l\'entretien g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ral des propri\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9s attribu\xc3\xa9es.
• Effectuer le nettoyage et les r\xc3\xa9parations mineures (p.ex. \xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9, plomberie, construction g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rale).
• Effectuer des t\xc3\xa2ches physiquement exigeantes en utilisant des \xc3\xa9chelles, des outils \xc3\xa9lectriques et en soulevant des charges allant jusqu\'\xc3\xa0 50 lbs.
• L\'application des connaissances de CVC, plomberie, \xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9, syst\xc3\xa8mes DDC BAS et syst\xc3\xa8mes de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9.

Qualifications:

• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 trouver des solutions et \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9soudre les probl\xc3\xa8mes de mani\xc3\xa8re efficace.
• Bonnes comp\xc3\xa9tences en entretien et en nettoyage.
• Connaissance g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rale de base de la plomberie, de l\'\xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9 et de la menuiserie.
• Bonnes connaissances en mati\xc3\xa8re de r\xc3\xa9paration et d\'entretein g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rale des syst\xc3\xa8mes de chauffage et de climatisation.
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 effectuer plusieurs t\xc3\xa2ches \xc3\xa0 la fois avec pr\xc3\xa9cision.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 faire preuve de jugement et d\'initiative.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler seul et en \xc3\xa9quipe.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 soulever des charges allant jusqu\'\xc3\xa0 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 se pencher, pousser, tirer ainsi qu\'\xc3\xa0 descendre et \xc3\xa0 monter les escaliers.
• Comp\xc3\xa9tences informatiques serait un atout (Word, Excel, courriel et Internet).

Formation et exp\xc3\xa9rience

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes secondaires ou cinq ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience reli\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 l\'emploi.
• L\'exp\xc3\xa9rience de l\'entretien r\xc3\xa9sidentiel ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience requise en location d\'appartement et en assistance aux locataires.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine de la vente ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Connaissance des lois applicables sur les locations r\xc3\xa9sidentielles au Nouveau-Brunswick et sur les droits et les obligations des propri\xc3\xa9taires et des locataires serait un atout.
