Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in personnel management of the Saskatoon and Regina offices.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the region.
• Monitor local business opportunities, liaising with the firm\'s various stakeholders as required.
• Participate in business development strategies and activities with customers in the region.
• Actively participate in the follow-up of the firm\'s projects with our local clients, to ensure that our mandates are delivered in accordance with the company\'s values and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.
• Maintain business relations with existing clients and develop business relations with new clients.
• Participate and represent CIMA+ in the city\'s business and socio-economic development activities.
• In addition to business operations duties, project management including production of deliverables (reports, design, plans and specifications, expertise).

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in mechanical, industrial, electrical or civil engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years\' relevant experience, experience with a consulting engineering firm an asset.
• Knowledge of the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sector
• Significant network of contacts in the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Experience with P&L responsibilities.
• Licenced Professional Engineer
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, business acumen.
• Expertise in team management and mobilizing leadership.
• Expertise in business development and operations management.
• Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Recognized expertise in engineering project management and relevant experience in construction, planning and estimating.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and judgment.
• Acts ethically and demonstrates a high capacity for collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to plants /industrial sites
