Position Overview: The Mining Account Manager is responsible for representing all commercial aspects with the customer and Finning to include a strategic approach through the development and implementation of business plans for growth, specific sales and marketing for all products and services.

**This role requires travel: Edson/Hinton 1 day per week & Saskatchewan bi-annually.

:

• Maintain sound long term relationships with the customer base as well as Caterpillar and Finning.
• Develop short, medium and long range strategic plan with alignment to customer\xe2\x80\x99s mine plans. These plans would including equipment and service forecasts, pricing, quality, estimates and market intelligence.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships to support the marketing and sales of equipment, products and services.
• Foster relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
• Timely and effective research, communication and response to customer and Caterpillar issues.
• Oversight of reporting and compliance on contractual obligations.
• Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and asset management.
• Growing the market share of Caterpillar mining equipment within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain information data utilizing Finning Canada\xe2\x80\x99s customer relationships management software.
• Undercarriage Measuring as required by customer.
• Prepare accurate and timely equipment and service forecasts, pricing, quality, estimates and market intelligence, call reports and customer information.

Experience:

• 8 to 10 years previous sales and product support experience within a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of products and services related to the assigned industry
• Knowledge of the mining industry an asset
• Mechanical knowledge would be considered beneficial
