What you will do:

• Contribute to the safe and reliable operation of the Rocanville Mine as part of the Mine Engineering Team.
• Complete tasks in support of mine operations, specifically working within the Mine Engineering Team (specifics may vary based on operational needs)
• Primary responsibilites of the Mine Engineering Team include: Mine design, planning, scheduling, and identification of capital projects, as well as providing technical support to the mine in the capacity of ventilation, ground control and rock mechanics, geology, and survey/layout support
• Operate in various roles through a rotational development program
• Work on cross-functional team projects for the mine
• Identify and manage operational, capital and business improvement requirements to execute mine development and production activities

What you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mine Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology or a related discipline required OR
• 2-Year Diploma in Mine Engineering required
• Eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (if applicable)
• Experience in underground operating mine sites (preferred)
• Technical proficiency in Rock Mechanics (preferred)
• Technical proficiency in Mine Ventilation (preferred)
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCad, Amine, or alternate drafting and mining software (preferred)
• Proficiency with mine planning software (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
• Ability work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work underground
