Reporting to site supervision, the role of Millwright Journeyperson will be expected to start in October working on a 4/3 rotation. This position will perform general millwright work at our client\xe2\x80\x99s facility located at Bonnyville.
Only Local candidates will be considered Journeyman Millwright rate - $44.10
Position Requirements
- Registered Millwright Apprentice or Journeyperson with 4 Years Maintenance or SAGD experience
- Construction Safety Training System 2020 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space Entry
- Fall Protection
- Meet conditions outlined on Physical Demands Analysis
- Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and Client Training
- Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
Position Description
- Commissioning, start-up and reliability activities
- Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
- Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments
- Perform predictive and operational procedures
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Inspect, service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and pumps
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Receptive to working with short notice for call outs and overtime as per client request
