We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during projects Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project Follow safety protocols while working in various settings including residential, commercial, and industrial environments

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects Familiarity with residential painting techniques as well as commercial and industrial painting practices Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively Experience with rigging techniques when necessary for high or difficult-to-reach areas Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality Background in carpentry is a plus but not mandatory
