Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings using

AutoCAD

Translate architectural drawings, design concepts, and specifications into fabrication-ready drawings Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and assembly drawings Incorporate

AWMAC standards

, hardware requirements, materials, and finishes Coordinate drawings with Project Management, Estimating, Production, and Installation teams Revise drawings based on internal review, client comments, and site conditions Assist with RFIs, clarifications, and drawing submissions as required Maintain organized digital drawing files and revision control Support production by providing clear, accurate information for fabrication and installation

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience drafting

custom millwork or cabinetry

(commercial preferred) Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(experience with Microvellum or similar is an asset) Strong understanding of millwork construction methods, materials, and hardware Familiarity with

AWMAC standards

and commercial construction documents Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings High attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects Excellent communication and collaboration skills
