If you are passionate about working with wood, this full-time position is made for you. Working with top-quality German machines, you will manufacture high-quality custom wood windows, doors, and curtain wall systems for beautiful projects created by architects and designers. Working with exotic hardwoods, premium-grade softwoods, and engineered woods, you will apply your excellent woodworking skills to build beautiful products. This is not mass production; every project is unique and challenging. Your knowledge and understanding of wood, millwork & joinery will make this work exciting and rewarding.

RedSeal in carpentry or second-year apprentice or higher is required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

High attention to detail to ensure projects meet the design criteria for windows, hybrid curtain wall systems and door products as they relate to Provincial and Federal Building Codes and Industry Certification Standards Work with the Production Team to prepare reports and schedule estimated workstation hours to forecast start and completion dates. Keep clear records of inventory. Participating in all staff meetings to define problems and offer solutions

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Redseal or secone-year is a must 3-5 years of experience, qualified in Millwork & Joinery Leadership ability Able to lift and move heavy units Must work well with others, be a strong team player, and take ownership & responsibility Satisfactory written and verbal communication skills in English Willingness to learn new tasks, functions, policies, and procedures
