Milling Machine Operator

Job Description
Municipal Construction Limited specializes in asphalt production, paving, aggregate production, road building and rehabilitation.
We are currently hiring for a Milling Machine Operator. This is a seasonal position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely and skillfully operate milling machine following all standard equipment procedures Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance such as adjusting, fluid checks, replacing minor parts and lubricating equipment Responsible for daily checks of the milling drum, conveyors and water supply system Responsible for daily inspection and replacement of milling teeth
Skills and Qualifications
:2 + years experience operating milling machines Experience in highway work preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to frequently travel outside of St. John's
Work Environment
Outdoor work subject to extreme weather conditions Frequent noise exposure Frequent standing, bending, walking, climbing
