Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Millworker

to join our commercial woodworking team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in architectural millwork, can confidently read and interpret shop drawings, and is skilled in fabricating and assembling high-quality custom wood components. This position involves working with laminates, fine cabinetry, and a variety of materials using both hand tools and industrial woodworking equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists accurately. Fabricate and pre-assemble custom millwork components including cabinets, panels, fixtures, counters and other custom trade show display requirements. Laminate sheet goods with precision using standard tools and equipment. Operate woodworking machines such as table saws, edge banders, planers, sanders, and routers. Use basic hand tools confidently for fine adjustments and detailed craftsmanship. Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company safety policies. Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial millwork or architectural woodworking. Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and production plans. Hands-on experience with laminate application, cabinetry assembly, and finishing techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools and woodworking machinery. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Forklift experience or certification is an asset but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
