We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality manufacturing processes, focusing on precision and safety while working with various materials. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts as needed.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting heavy components.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general fabrication practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Familiarity with machining processes and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
Experience in ductwork installation or construction-related projects is a plus.
Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements.
Ability to operate cranes safely when necessary for lifting heavy materials.
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
