Our Midnight bakers are an integral part of our team who are responsible for the preparation of breads, bagels, pastries, rolls and other baked goods. Midnight bakers work with a small crew from 11 pm - 7 am, Monday through Sunday.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately follow recipes
Measure ingredients using measuring tools
Mix ingredients, by hand or with large floor mixers
Roll dough by hand, cut dough into sections to fit baking pans
Bake goods and remove from oven and place on cooling racks
Follow safe food handling requirements
Ensure compliance with health and safety, Dine safe, weights and measures, and the Canadian food inspections agency regulations
Adhere to the company's mission statement, by ensuring freshness all products
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience in a bakery an asset
Scratch bakery experience an asset
Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull and lift is a must
Able to prepare a wide variety of bread products from scratch
A passion and love for food must be evident
Excellent attention to detail and initiative
Good math skills
