We're looking for a co-teacher to work with our older learners (ages 10-14) in a small, relationship-first school environment.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys supporting students academically while also paying close attention to regulation, emotional safety, and daily classroom rhythms. You'll work alongside a lead educator to implement provided curriculum, support individualized learning, and help students build confidence and consistency in a school setting.
Role details
Full-time, Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Working with learners ages 10-14
What you'll be doing
Supporting students with curriculum implementation (materials and guidance provided)
Assisting with daily classroom routines and learning tasks
Supporting social-emotional learning using trauma-informed practice
Implementing individualized ABA programs for specific students (training provided)
Collaborating closely with the classroom teacher and team
Providing calm, consistent, and responsive support throughout the day
What we're looking for
Experience working with children or youth in an educational or support role
Some experience implementing
individualized
ABA programs (not broad behaviour plans)
Strong understanding of SEL and trauma-informed practice
Flexibility, patience, and strong relational skills
Ability to follow structure while adapting to individual learner needs
