Here\'s the impact you\'ll make

The Capital Manager, will lead the continuous improvement of Portfolio Management methodologies, standards, tools, and policies and act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain empowered partnerships within Chief Product Office, Customer Facing Business Units and Capital Leadership team to support the implementation of the new portfolio management function and foster a lean and agile environment. You will interact with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and facilitate the overall communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders and business sponsors.

Here\'s how:

• Portfolio Management & Optimization: Accountable for managing the CPO capital portfolio and working with the appropriate business primes to optimize investment to delivery and maximize ROI
• Governance: Lead governance forums and ensure all initiatives within the portfolio maintain a high-standard of compliance on TELUS\' project governance requirements
• Executive Reporting & Portfolio Performance Analysis: As the gatekeeper of capital, you will provide regular executive level reporting, as well as ad-hoc analysis across multiple related topics
• Collaborate: We will need someone to work with a broad group of cross-functional stakeholders to drive improvements to key project execution metrics
• Develop strong business cases across various CPO portfolios to ensure our capital investments align to Telus Health strategic direction and justified ROI
• Developing budgets, rolling forecast and creating and tracking analytics to set and support company and business targets
• Overseeing investment opportunities from ideation, development, launch, and reinvestment
• Assisting with special projects and analysis as needed
• Drive improvements through creation and implementation of transformation initiatives and innovating around new tools and processes to maximize productivity.
• You will develop a strong vision, set direction and encourage your team to establish an inspiring culture that can rise to any challenge

Qualifications

Here\'s what you bring:

• MBA or advanced degree in a management, technical, or engineering field
• Experience in Corporate Finance or Capital Management
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or product management in the technology industry
• Excellent economics, modeling, and presentation experience
• Track record in delivering on objectives on time, quality and cost frameworks
