Job Description
Trans Tank Systems is an assembly and service facility specializing in tanker trucks for the petroleum, water, and aviation markets. We are currently seeking a meter & calibration technician.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Self-motivated and confident in their abilities.
- Candidates will need to provide their own tools and be able to work individually, in a team, and with minimal supervision at times.
- Experience with pumping and metering systems on tanker trucks is an asset.
Job Details:
- The opportunity for overtime and working weekends will also be provided.
- Trans Tank offers competitive wages and a benefits package after a 3-month probation period.
- Regular weekday hours are 7:30-4:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:30-4:00 on Fridays.
- Salary from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and repairing pumps, meters, registers, and other mechanical components on new, remounted, and in-service tank trucks.
- Disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and maintenance of pumps, meters, registers, hose reels, hydraulic components, etc.
- Calibration of truck-mounted meters & registers to Weights & Measures standards and specifications.
- Other duties as required.
