The Planner plays a key role in supporting the success of Joseph Mimran & Associates' retail programs and brand initiatives through
sales reporting, forecasting, inventory management, and operational planning
. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare
weekly/monthly sales and margin reports
.
Build and manage
forecasts, budgets, and expense tracking
.
Support
inventory flow, shipment booking, and delivery management
.
Develop
workback schedules
and maintain seasonal calendars.
Contribute to
space planning and planogram support
.
Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and identify risks/opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, sales, logistics, finance).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in planning, merchandising, or supply chain.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/planning systems an asset.
Strong financial acumen with knowledge of
retail math, forecasting, and margin management
.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
