YOUR ROLE

Overview

• Reporting to Senior Merchandise Analyst, Analyst main role is to provide business performance and insights to the buying team.

• He / She will work closely with the buying team to provide sales analytics for Handbags & Accessories categories to help in decision making.

• Buying Analyst will also support in reviewing the Buyers areas of business and offer recommendations to improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Create key reports and dashboards to measure and inform teams on product performance and other KPIs

• Analyze and synthesize data both at category level and by channel to help inform business decisions

• Work closely with buyers to assess assortment / inventory mix where necessary and make recommendations.

• Understanding of Key retails metrics

• Create and maintain performance reports

• Validate data before sharing with stakeholders

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE\'RE LOOKING FOR?

• Three years+ of relevant work experience

• Bachelor\'s degree required, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics graduates preferred

• Advanced excel skills

• Proven ability to work through data sets and conduct data analysis

• Experience in forecasting trends with data

• Ability to prioritize effective and meet tight deadlines

• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies

• Experience of working with large data/ data management

• Strong analytical skills

• Knowledge of macro is an asset

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
