Point Grey Golf and Country Club, nestled in the heart of scenic landscapes, is a prestigious private club renowned for its exceptional golfing experience and unparalleled member services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Membership & Communications Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:



The Membership & Communications Manager plays a central role in creating a seamless and engaging experience for members at Point Grey Golf & Country Club. This position manages all aspects of membership, including onboarding, category transfers, and resignations, while working with the Membership Committee to ensure compliance with Club policies.

The Manager also oversees all member communications, from newsletters and announcements to the website and social media, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and reflects the Club's culture and values. Reporting to the General Manager/COO and working closely with the Head of Membership Sales, this role helps align membership operations and communications with the Club's overall goals and strategy.

Key Responsibilities



Membership Management



Lead all aspects of membership management, making sure processes run smoothly and members receive consistent, professional, and high-quality service. Oversee the processing of new member applications, ensuring all forms and documents are accurate, complete, and ready for the Membership Committee's review. Develop and maintain clear, effective procedures for all membership activities to keep operations organized, efficient, and member-focused. Manage membership updates, category transfers, and resignations according to Club policies, ensuring communication is timely, respectful, and clear. Work closely with the Membership Committee to create and deliver programs that boost member engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention. Monitor and manage the membership budget, providing regular reports and identifying ways to improve processes and grow the membership program.

Communications Management



Oversee all member communications, ensuring timely, consistent, and effective delivery of critical updates, announcements, and event promotions. Write and edit clear, accurate, and engaging content for multiple audiences, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all platforms. Manage the Club's website and social media, reviewing and guiding vendor content to ensure it reflects the Club's brand and communication goals. Develop and implement strategic communication plans for Club projects, initiatives, and policy changes to maximize member engagement and support. Produce high-quality content across diverse channels--including weekly newsletters, feature articles, social media, and visual media--that reinforces the Club's culture, values, and community. Serve as a key communications partner to the General Manager/COO and senior leadership, aligning messaging with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred. 4 years of experience in membership management, member services, or a similar role, ideally within a private club, hospitality, or association setting. Strong understanding of membership processes, including applications, category transfers, resignations, and compliance procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and professional content for diverse audiences. Experience managing internal and external communications, including newsletters, announcements, website content, and social media. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, develop procedures, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
