Position Overview



We are seeking a dependable, organized, and service-oriented

Member Support & Office Administrator

to provide vital in-office support across all associations. This role serves as the first point of contact for general inquiries from members, stakeholders, and the public, and plays an essential role in maintaining smooth office operations.

This is a part-time, independent contractor position requiring consistent on-site presence at our Alberta office.

Key Responsibilities



Administrative & Office Support



Maintain the physical office space, including cleanliness and supply inventory Handle incoming calls, emails, physical mail, and general inquiries (Tier 1 support) Perform filing, document organization, and other clerical duties Schedule meetings and support logistics for internal and external stakeholders Prepare and maintain board meeting packages and take minutes as required

Training & Materials Preparation



Assemble training binders and certificates for in-person and virtual courses Support the preparation of print materials and training packages Assist with managing course logistics and document readiness

Member Engagement



Provide administrative assistance in membership growth and retention activities, including outreach and call campaigns

Required Skills & Qualifications



Must be able to work on-site in Edmonton, Alberta Experience in administrative, office coordination, or member support roles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace

Nice-to-Have Qualifications



Experience working with associations or membership-based organizations Familiarity with CRM or association management systems (AMS) Experience using platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, or Hootsuite

Contract Details



Hours: 20-25 hours per week, flexible scheduling within business hours Location: On-site presence required at the association's Edmonton Alberta office Type: Independent contractor - responsible for own taxes and business obligations Duration: 1-year (potential to renew)
