Part-Time Member Services Associate

Position Summary

The Member Services Associate is responsible for managing and supporting membership operations, communications, and administrative tasks for the Club. This role involves regular interaction with members, staff, and the public, as well as maintaining accurate records, assisting with events, and supporting club operations.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.

Hours: Part-time (flexible schedule, includes some evenings/weekends during busy

seasons)

Reports to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:



Membership Administration



? Process new membership applications, onboarding, and invoicing

? Maintain accurate member records in the CRM, including updates, changes, and

suspensions

? Liaise with business partners

? Generate membership-related reports

? Address member inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally

Communication & Public Relations



? Draft and distribute newsletters, member notices, and promotional materials.

? Maintain and update website content (public and member-facing).

? Monitor and respond to Google Business reviews; update hours and public info.

? Assist in creating and distributing advertisements for events, signage, and social media

Administrative & Clerical



? Answer and direct phone calls; triage voicemail and email queries

? Maintain and organize both electronic and physical filing systems

? Update office calendars, parking passes, and internal records

? Manage membership access to the Club

Event & Committee Support



? Liaise with club committees and assist with event planning/logistics

? Manage room and marina reservation requests

? Support hospitality efforts, including event advertisement and layouts

Skills & Qualifications



? Strong organizational and multitasking skills

? Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

? Proficiency in database management, MS Office, Google Workspace and basic website updates

? At least 5 years customer service experience in a membership or community environment preferred

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment



This position is primarily office-based but may require occasional presence at club

events. Interaction with members, staff, and the public is frequent, requiring a professional and approachable demeanor.
