The Langley Division of Family Practice (LDFP
)
is a non-profit society representing family physicians, post-graduate medical residents, and nurse practitioners in the City and Township of Langley. We aim to enhance access to local primary care, strengthen physician voices in healthcare delivery and policy, and provide ongoing professional support.
Position Summary
The Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Division projects and organizational initiatives. This in-person role involves administrative, coordination, and relationship-building functions and reports to the Executive Director while collaborating closely with other staff and community stakeholders. Some evening work is required for events and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support
Assist Project Managers in planning and delivering Division related initiatives.
Develop project work plans and coordinate tasks and timelines.
Schedule and document meetings; prepare action item summaries and track follow-ups.
Conduct research and organize materials to support program activities.
Provide regular project updates and reports.
Draft correspondence, proposals, and support documentation.
Event and Meeting Coordination
Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including venue booking and material preparation.
Attend, document, and support meetings and local primary care clinic visits.
Membership Engagement and Communications
Organize engagement sessions and presentations for members.
Liaise with physicians, community partners, and stakeholders to build relationships.
Manage sensitive communications and submissions.
Create and distribute informational resources for members and the public.
Qualifications and Competencies
Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar coordination or support role.
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Communications, Health Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage time, tasks, and multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, and Zoom.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Valid BC Driver's License and access to reliable transportation within Langley.
Availability for occasional evening events or meetings.
Preferred:
Experience in health care administration or member-based organizations.
Familiarity with BC healthcare systems, including FPSC, Fraser Health, Doctors of BC, and Health Match BC, Division of Family Practice.
Skills in data collection, reporting, and quality improvement.
Experience with program planning, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation frameworks.

Salary:
$60,000 - $65,000 per year - based on experience
