Qualifications
: Completion of a full-time post-secondary office course which has provided training in keyboarding, office practices and word processing is required. The completion of a Health Records Technician Course and a typing speed of 40 words per minute are also required. The successful applicant must be certified by the Canadian Health Information Management Association at the Certificant level and an active member of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).Two (2) years of ICD10-CA/CCI (acute care) coding experience would be considered an asset.
