The Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role in managing administrative tasks and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with quick decision making, working independently and as a team, have an eagerness to learn and acquire new skills. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy individual to provide administrative duties in this fast-paced, professional environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments.
Greeting patients and addressing any questions or concerns.
Checking voicemail, scanning and faxing documents.
Compiling patient charts.
Confirming demographics of patients.
Schedule changes/adjustments.
Printing schedules on a daily basis.
Recording cosmetic payments.
Keeping up to date with current office technology.
Delegation of administrative duties and ensuring that all duties are covered on a day-to-day basis.
Maintaining open and clear communication between counterparts.
Performing other administrative duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Experience, Training and Work Record:
A Diploma from a post-secondary school in Medical Office Management or Office Administration.
Minimum 1 year previous work experience in a related field.
Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Proficient in the English language.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and some weekday evenings.

Criminal Record Check that has been issued within the past six months
