We are a growing healthcare organization with several clinics within the Greater Toronto Area. Our organization provides a wide spectrum of medical services and products within the healthcare industry.

We are currently looking for a

part-time Medical Receptionist

to join our busy Multidisciplinary clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a growing healthcare organization and build their career.

Location: 594 Sheppard Avenue West, North York, ON M3H 2S1

Start Date: Immediately

Status: Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data Answering incoming calls and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself Assist patients to complete all necessary forms Scheduling appointments for new and recurring patients Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating person and financial information Process payments, patient billing, and medical insurance claims Inform patients of medical office procedures and policies Respond and comply to requests for information Maintain and manage patient records Handle mail and faxes

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with EHC, MVA, WSIB, ODSP, and Slip & Fall Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task Passionate about healthcare excellence Excellent customer service skills Exceptional communication skills Time management Professionalism Organization Flexibility Reliable
