Medical Office Administrator Manager

Job Description

We are hiring for two positions at a busy, well-established family practice and walk-in clinic. We are looking for experienced, professional, and team-oriented candidates to join our clinic.

Position 1: Full-time Medical Office Manager

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily clinic operations and ensuring smooth workflow. Managing and supporting front office and clinical staff. Troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues in a busy clinic environment. OHIP billing and reconciliation, including third-party and uninsured services. Coordinating patient referrals to specialists and hospitals, including follow-ups. Managing schedules, clinic flow, and time optimization. Ensuring compliance with clinic policies, confidentiality, and professional standards. Assisting with clinical tasks as needed. Phlebotomy and blood work experience is strongly required.
Requirements:

Several years of experience in a multi-physician medical clinic. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Solid experience with OHIP billing and third-party insurance billing. Excellent communication and team-management skills. PS Suite EMR experience is strongly preferred. Diploma in Medical Office Administration and Medical Terminology preferred. Professional, calm, and patient-focused approach.
Position 2: Part-time Experienced Front Office Receptionist / Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities include:

Front desk duties including answering phones, booking appointments, and patient check-in. Managing patient flow and supporting efficient clinic operations. Assisting physicians during daily clinic activities. Performing phlebotomy, injections, and administering immunizations as required. Handling lab specimens according to proper procedures. Preparing and stocking examination rooms. Processing referrals and supporting follow-up coordination. Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a medical clinic setting. Strong front-office and patient interaction skills. Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and immunizations is required. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. PS Suite EMR experience is an asset. Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per day
