By joining GBGH, you will become part of a family that works together to provide our patients with the highest possible level of care.The Medical Laboratory Technologist as a member of the interdisciplinary team, are responsible for the performance and reporting of laboratory tests ordered by physicians in order to supply reliable and accurate information to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions within the profession\'s standards of practice.QUALIFICATIONSTo Succeed in This Role, You Will Need the Following:

• Current CSMLS registration certificate (New Graduates are welcome to apply)
• Member of the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (C.M.L.T.O.)
• Good understanding of Quality Management / Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance / Ontario Laboratory Accreditation
• Proven decision making skills
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

PREFERRED

• Recent experience (within the last 1 - 2 years) in:

• Chemistry / Transfusion Services / Haematology / Phlebotomy

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

ASSETS

• Bilingual - English and French
• Meditech Expanse system experience
