What you will do The Medical Information Specialist is expected to demonstrate expertise in assigned pharmaceutical products and devices, and to utilize this expertise to respond to inquiries from Health Care Professionals via appropriate exchange of scientifically accurate, focused, and balanced scientific knowledge. Consumer inquiry support may also be required with some clients. Main requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties satisfactorily: \xc2\xb7 Collect and report adverse event data and product complaint data to drug safety departments and quality departments, respectively, within required timeframe; \xc2\xb7 Thoroughly and accurately document cases in medical information database, consistent with operational procedures; \xc2\xb7 Comply with all guidelines, policies, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements; \xc2\xb7 Participate in scientific training, as appropriate, to support assigned brands; \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as requested. Candidate profile \xc2\xb7 Advanced health professional degree - PharmD mandatory; \xc2\xb7 One to three years of related experience preferred; Demonstrated expertise in drug information and management preferred; \xc2\xb7 Fluent level of spoken and written English and French canadian; \xc2\xb7 Proficient in e-mail and verbal communication; \xc2\xb7 Above-average attention to detail, teamwork and initiative; \xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and quickly able to learn new software; \xc2\xb7 Ability to apply regulatory and compliance guidelines to scientific information exchange; \xc2\xb7 Proactive, Liable and Team Worker.
