Position Summary
We are seeking either a Medical Office Manager or a highly experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of managing both clinical administration and operational responsibilities within a busy primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage physician scheduling
Process complex medical and administrative forms
Reconcile payments and handle minor financial allocations
Oversee patient chart management
Perform AHCI billing and claims reconciliation
Manage vendor relationships and clinic systems
Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes
Oversee Netcare administration
Manage locums, including onboarding and coordination
Maintain employee (HR) administration
Handle CII/CPAR setup and maintenance
Handle sensitive medical information and follow regulation regarding confidentiality
Perform other related duties, as required
Computer & Technology Requirements
EMR experience required; Telus CHR proficiency is an asset
Telus Business Connect VOIP experience is an asset
QuickBooks Online experience is an asset
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, or alternate between both for an 8-hour shift
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
