Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant- SKIN Clinics WINNIPEG

SKIN Clinics, central Canada's leading Dermatology practice, is seeking a full time, highly organized and patient-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Administrative Assistant. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for our valued patients. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the coordination of patient appointments, inquiries, and support throughout their journey with us. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care. Experience in a medical clinic is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:



- Assisting doctors as they work. Cleaning rooms, sterilizing equipment, completing any tasks they need help with.

- Processing faxes.

- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and resolving concerns or issues effectively.

- Coordinate patient appointments, ensure accurate scheduling, and efficiently manage the clinic's appointment calendar.

- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information.

- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience for patients, including coordinating pre and post-treatment instructions.

- Provide administrative support, including managing paperwork, data entry, and maintaining inventory of office supplies and products.

- Greet and warmly welcome patients, providing a professional and friendly first impression.

- Actively contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming clinic environment.

Requirements:



- Previous experience working in a medical clinic in a customer service or client-facing role is strongly preferred.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a high level of customer service.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.

- Proficiency in using computer systems, including scheduling software and Microsoft Office.

- Ability to maintain a professional demeanour in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Positive attitude

- Excellent work ethic

- Knowledge of Accuro EMR considered a very strong asset.
