Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract (with potential for permanent position)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | In-Person
Salary: $55,000 CAD Annually

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Media Relations Coordinator and Virtual Event
Moderator to join our media team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about
communications, digital engagement, and the coordination of live virtual events. The successful
candidate will be a confident communicator, detailoriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced,
media-driven environment.

What will your workweek consist of?

Coordinate and moderate virtual corporate presentations in a high-tech studio.
Management of the public company will be presenting their story, and you will be
moderating the event live. (Coordinate with speakers, troubleshoot tech issues, and
ensure smooth delivery)
Support media client management on a client-to-client basis, ensuring tailored
communication strategies, consistent follow-ups, and seamless coordination with each
account's unique needs.
Dissemination of our client's news releases to our database.
Preparation and dissemination of evites and reminders of corporate presentations.
Manage, edit and upload website content.
Manage, populate, curate and monitor content for social media accounts such as
LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.
Database management; searching and entering data.
Media monitoring (News papers, magazines, business publications, various search
engines such as Meltwater)


Various administrative tasks including but not limited to creating and updating various
reports, lists, and documents.

You're a prioritization pro with a high degree of selfmotivation, eager to learn new

processes and methods that will enhance job performance.
You have a sharp eye for detail and know-how to quality-check content for tone, call to
action, grammar, and typos.
Interest in the financial sector and thirst for knowledge; finding ways & angles to fit our
clients into ongoing news narratives.

Requirements for the position

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, media studies,
marketing, public relations or journalism. Studies in finance and/ or economics could also
be aligned with our expectations.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Bilingual- English (100%), French (an asset)
No criminal record

This is a 6-month contract; however, we are looking to offer you a permanent position if this is
the right fit for both parties.
