Located in one of North America\xe2\x80\x99s largest animation hubs, Laughing Dragon Studios is a 2D animation studio in the heart of Montreal.

With a team of over 100 dedicated animators working in Toon Boom Harmony and other internally developed suites, as well as in-house editors, writers, illustrators and producers, Laughing Dragon Studios is a full-service studio. We can take any idea, story or script and develop it smoothly to the screen, no matter the platform. Laughing Dragon also has an extensive slate of internally developed IP\xe2\x80\x99s and concepts.

In addition to studio and producer projects, LDS works extensively in the advertising and video game industries. LDS has had the opportunity to work in the Gaming Industry, providing cut scenes, ads and more to AAA Video Game Companies like Riot Games, Blizzard, Square Enix, and more.

Reporting directly to the Director of Production, the Media Production Coordinator will be working closely with artists responsible for creating the art assets for creative briefs (Graphic Designers, Motion Designers etc) as well as with the clients.

The position\xe2\x80\x99s main objective will be to ensure the timely completion of the briefs as well as the quality of the product being delivered to clients.

The coordinator will also maintain a good working relationship with Agency Clients and be the liaison between the clients and the artists.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing creative briefs from clients and assigning them to the proper artist for completion.
• Coordinate and manage projects/deadlines between clients and our creative team, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Ensure operational efficiency by building and documenting best practices and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share creative insights and knowledge.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a creative role.
• Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to coordinate tasks and communicate with multiple teams simultaneously
• Extensive knowledge of the digital media landscape
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excels at time management and is organized and detail-oriented.
• Works well in a fast-paced workplace and is good at multi-tasking.
• Communicates effectively on the phone, by email, and in person.
• Safeguards confidential information and is discreet.
