The Media Effectiveness Analyst, will be part of a cross-functional team, specifically focused on transforming raw data into insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter and has an innate interest in all things data: whether it?s data tidying, visualization, analysis, or statistics, using data to drive business outcomes is a passion.
Data Management:
Access and compile large volumes of data across disparate sources into concise and precise information
Understanding of ETL process and ability to query databases
Ensure data quality and data documentation
Solve problems with internal and external clients on data issues
Ability to determine and gather data requirements for a given project
Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues
Data Analysis and Presentation:
Understand the business processes and leverage the procured knowledge in planning, execution, and reporting
Produce visuals (charts, graphs) and presentations for summary trend statistics
Provide support for ad-hoc data and research
Clearly and effectively communicate findings
Qualifications
Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in preferably in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, etc.) or with relevant coursework
A minimum of 2 years related industry experience is required
Basic understanding of the Digital Media landscape
Proficient in SQL and baseline understanding of/exposure to Python & R is preferred
Familiarity with Tableau, Datorama, PowerBI and other data visualization platforms
High-level of confidence with an ability to manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with numbers and budgets.
Advanced level MS Office skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP?s), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Aptitude for priority management where it concerns managing multiple deliverables/work streams.
Must be able to organize ideas and present back information logically and sequentially.
