Overview:We're looking for a NEW member for our team: a part-time Media Coordinator!The Media Coordinator reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works with local vendors to place advertising collateral with newspapers, radio stations and digital advertisers, on behalf of North Creative's clients.
This position requires an attention to detail, great email etiquette and an interest in the \'behind-the-scenes\' of advertising and marketing work.Our new hire will ideally love to work with spreadsheets and reporting systems and be self-motivated!
(On the job training will be provided. No previous marketing/agency experience needed, although a media background would be considered an asset.)This job is located in-person at our Yellowknife office: 5122, 48th StreetDuties:

• monitoring the advertising@northagency.ca email daily
• taking placement requests from the GNWT and other clients and creating cost estimates
• sending cost estimates to client and purchase order forms to media vendors to confirm placement dates
• working with North Creative's in-house designers to lay out collateral such as digital and newspaper ads
• communicating with GNWT and other clients in a timely manner to ensure design collateral has been placed with media vendors
• inputting media expenses into North Creative's internal billing system
• invoicing clients via email
• updating an on-going reporting spreadsheet with each piece of data from the campaign
• updating an ongoing online folder system for GNWT and other clients to review their campaign work and associated PDFs

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Education
• A background in marketing or media is considered an asset but not a requirement
• Trust-worthy and able to report on daily activities to the Chief Operating Officer
• Excellent email etiquette
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in person (Yellowknife)
• Proficient in Excel
• Able to work half days Monday-Friday between (1-5pm) and/or ability to step into a full-time position after training/probationary period
