As part of the sales team, you will be asked to do the following:

• Strong understanding of and ability to create, demonstrate and deliver multi-media advertising solutions designed to help drive quality leads and return on investment
• Consult with potential clients to identify and present YP benefit-focused solutions
• Understand and promote YP products and services relevant to each customer
• Design proposals for customers based on needs assessment
• Ensure all documentation & reports are complete and accurate
• Understand, promote, and continuously educate self about YP products and services
• Provide exceptional service while growing YP sales revenue by developing a value partnership with clients
• Ensure all canvass deadlines are met and books are closed on schedule. Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
• Represent YP professionally and enthusiastically both to internal and external customers

What we are looking for:

• Compete to Win - Motivated by results to achieve company set targets
• Ability to overcome objections with perseverance
• Strong organizational/planning complemented with time management skills
• Technical skills Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in Sales and Media advertising
• Diploma/ degree in Business, Marketing or Education an asset
• Working knowledge of internet search
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Detail oriented
• Strong ability to work independently to manage and prioritize tasks to deliver desired outcomes
• Web-savvy and Social Media \xe2\x80\x93 capacity to learn and have interest in. Knowledge of both creative and directive advertising across multiple mediums including Print, Online, Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, mobile applications and Social Media
• Strong technology skills including Tablet PC, CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to calculate ROI and understand KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and how they are evaluated. Rudimentary math skills with the ability to assess the numbers and explain \xe2\x80\x9cWHY\xe2\x80\x9d, not just the numbers.
• Strong Business Acumen required
• Strong Negotiation Skills and excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
• Fact finding/identify customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs
• Provide diagnostic selling solutions oriented to YP\xe2\x80\x99s complete suite of product offerings with the ability to close
• Deadline Driven
• Ability to establish partnerships with internal and external customers
• Self Starter
• Valid Drivers License & access to own car
• Located in and around Vancouver, BC
• Google Certification an asset
