The Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, integration, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems and automated equipment. The role combines mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, and control system expertise to support the design, testing, and validation of medical and industrial automation systems, following the Company's ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System. The engineer will lead mechatronic system integration involving motion control, embedded systems, and communication technologies, including Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Participate in the generation of subsystem requirements and specifications for electromechanical devices and automated systems.
Design, integrate, and validate mechatronic assemblies including sensors, actuators, control systems, and communication interfaces.
Develop, debug, and optimize CNC programs and robot motion sequences (Fanuc, ABB).
Support firmware and embedded software development in Python and C++.
Design and troubleshoot PCB layouts using Altium Designer; create electrical schematics and BOMs.
Integrate BLE/Bluetooth communication modules and perform connectivity testing.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting on electrical/mechanical systems -- including soldering, wiring, and instrumentation.
Use SolidWorks for 3D design, mechanical integration, and motion simulation of electromechanical mechanism.
Support prototype builds, hardware validation, and production testing.
Develop testing setups, manufacturing fixtures, and test protocols for automation equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601-1, ISO 14971).
Lead or participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Document all design activities in compliance with ISO 13485 design control requirements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechatronic system design, automation, or robotics integration.
Strong hands-on experience in CNC programming, and robot control (Fanuc, ABB).
Skilled in Python and C++ for automation, firmware, and control applications.
Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical and system design.
Proficiency in Altium Designer or equivalent for PCB design.
Experience with BLE/Bluetooth communication integration and testing.
Knowledge of embedded systems, firmware development, and microcontroller programming.
Skilled in troubleshooting, soldering, wiring, and prototyping electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with automation sensors, motor drives, PLCs, and system wiring.
Understanding of regulatory standards for electromedical devices and EMC compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with strong documentation discipline.
Effective teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines.
