Your responsibilities:

• Design custom-made equipment and industrial machinery to meet the needs of our customers, primarily for our industrial ovens division.
• Perform 3D, CAD and DAO modeling on SolidWorks.
• Perform static and dynamic load calculations.
• Perform finite element analysis of engineered mechanical and airflow systems.
• Select the parts and materials used in the manufacture of projects.
• Plan and direct projects, control costs and times, and participate in multidisciplinary project follow-up meetings.
• Monitor, inspect and participate in the closing phases of projects from the installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical installations in the workshop or customer factory.
• Develop operation and maintenance manuals for the equipment designed.
• Solving failures on manufactured equipment.
• Technically supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers working on his projects.

Profile and skills sought:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or technical in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with experience
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks (or equivalent)
• Interest in thermal equipment and treatments (asset)
• Member of the OIQ (asset)
• Good communication skills (in French and English, orally and in writing)
• Have a customer-oriented approach
• Available for occasional work while traveling Canada/USA
• Organized
• Involved
• Autonomous
