Mechanical Technician

, based in our Estevan office.


In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our CMMS (AZZIER) program up to date, ensuring all documentation is meticulously entered. You'll handle everything from work requests for faulted equipment to completion remarks for finished work orders, and you'll keep our equipment specifications current. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will be essential in maintaining our high standards.


You'll dive into all aspects of maintenance, bringing your general knowledge of Tundra's field equipment to the forefront. Your insights and suggestions will help us maintain our equipment efficiently, all while following Tundra's top-notch safety protocols.

REPORTS TO

: Maintenance Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

:

Keeping maintenance logs up to date in the CMMS Program (AZZIER). Providing a daily schedule to the Maintenance Coordinator and take direction from the Coordinator and Operations. Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and general maintenance on Tundra's field equipment. Aiding in maintaining the preventative maintenance program, including documentation, schedules, and follow-up work orders. Responding promptly to equipment failures. Maintaining an inventory of maintenance parts. Completing lease inspections and perform pumpjack inspections. Assisting operations staff with training. Following and enforcing Safe Work Procedures. Following and enforcing all safety and security procedures, including responding to emergency situations.

WHAT YOU NEED:



General oilfield maintenance experience approx. 5 years. High School Diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



Must possess mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge. Proficient in general computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently without direct supervision, as well as effectively as part of a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles and achieve both long-term and day-to-day goals and tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to train others. Highly organized with strong time management skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:



This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure with tight deadlines and attention to detail. Candidates must reside within a 45-minute drive of their assigned field and be willing to work in various weather conditions. The role also demands flexibility for overtime and responsiveness to callouts, including emergency situations.
