Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe Electro Mechanical Technician, reporting to the Manager - Clinical Engineering, is responsible for the repair, calibration, installation, and safety and performance inspections on designated electromechanical patient care devices. The Electro Mechanical Technician is active in equipment management, special projects, safety initiatives and risk management programs of the department. The Electro Mechanical Technician is required to perform his/her duties in a responsible, professional, manner, acting within the framework and guidelines of the department. The Electro Mechanical Technician is involved in the repair, modification, calibration, installation, and safety and performance inspections on a variety of devices including but not limited to beds, stretchers, renal dialysis chair and sterile processing equipment. Overtime may be required, and some variability in working hours may be necessary to minimize equipment downtime.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Two year Electronic or Electromechanical Technician program (or acceptable equivalent)Electronic, Industrial Mechanic, or Industrial Electrical certification considered an asset2 years related experience requiredTravel to other sites may be required, access to reliable transportation requiredCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.Hours
