Black Creek Mechanical Ltd. is a mid-sized long-time established mechanical contractor in the GTA, with a reputation for delivering high-quality services to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled project manager to join our team.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading mechanical/prime construction projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with the construction team, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.
Project Manager candidates will need to confidently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Interpreting and analyzing drawings and specifications
Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines and schedules
Issuing vendor purchase orders, associated price negotiations
Shop Drawing management
RFI management
Change Order management
Preparing monthly progress reports and associated draws
Conducting regular project meetings with the team, stakeholders, and clients
Providing guidance and leadership to the project team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet project goals
Coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and other partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Communicating regularly with clients to provide updates on the project's progress and address any concerns or issues that arise
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have
5+ years of experience as a project manager in the mechanical construction industry
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents
Thorough knowledge of contract language / Terms and Conditions / Bonding / Permits etc.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and cost analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible to accommodate minor changes in start/finish times)
