Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring that all work meets quality standards and client specifications. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Lead and manage mechanical projects from initiation through to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope and objectives.
Oversee and manage project resources, including labor and materials, ensuring they are utilized effectively and cost-efficiently.
Conduct site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
Ensure all project work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Identify and address project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving as required.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
The position is based at our head office just outside of Exeter Ontario. Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm.
Qualifications Include:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical project management.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Proficiency in project management software and field service management tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally to clients and stakeholders.
A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Effective problem-solving skills and accountability in project oversight.
