Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has excellent communication skills, with strong project execution and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment. In this role you will work on the design, scope, and building a variety of rewarding projects.

We deliver a wide range of projects from small washroom upgrades to complex healthcare heating/cooling systems and medical gas systems. This unique opportunity is perfect for candidates seeking a variety of mechanical exposure across multiple industry types while contributing to high-quality, technically driven work.

While our office is located in Burnaby, travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland will be required.

Responsibilities



Attend project handover meetings with the estimating team. Read, interpret and understand project scopes and responsibilities. Setup projects in our internal project management system(s). Effectively track multiple project documentation workflows across an array of projects to ensure deliverables are met. Ensure all project stakeholders have correct, up-to-date information throughout a projects lifespan. Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns Work with the Project Management team to develop and manage schedules, resources plan, procurement, project commissioning and risk mitigation strategies, while controlling costs and maximizing productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications



Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadline Experience in Procore project management software is an asset.

At least 2 of the following:



Minimum 5 years experience as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber Minimum 5 years experience in the Construction Industry Post-secondary education from a mechanical program Minimum 4 years previous project coordination / management experience PMP Certification or MBA P. Eng designation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
